Prerequisite: COMM 224 or MARK 201. The role of research in the marketing process, the role of models, and the development of measurement techniques are discussed. Emphasis is placed on the nature and scope of marketing research methods for obtaining internal and external data, and on the steps and principles involved in gathering and analysing data.
