This course provides a broad overview of the employee-employer relationship. It describes the interplay between the various actors of industrial relations: unions, employees, employers, government, and legislators. The course focuses on major labour-management issues and the day-to-day problems of negotiating and administering collective agreements. Prerequisite: COMM 222
