Prerequisite: ACCO 661 and ACCO 662 This course provides the student with an understanding of the concepts underlying the financing and investment decisions of organizations. The course focuses on the role of financial markets and intermediaries, the relationship between risk and return, the cost of capital and its measurement, capital structure and leverage, working capital management and dividend policy. In addition, the theory is applied to case studies.
Note: Students who have received credit for FINA 520 may not take this course for credit.
